If you have a recent conditional discharge in British Columbia in addition to past criminal convictions, the discharge does not factor into your eligibility for a Canadian pardon. Express Pardons explains that your last conviction before the discharge will be the date to which you should use to determine when you will be eligible forĀ pardon. The Board will not take into account the conditional discharge and will consider the pardon for any other convictions. The conditional discharge will automatically be removed from your record 3 years after your complete the conditions given as part of the sentence.
